Field Visit - Haifa

The workshop was organized by local volunteers in cooperation with university students; aiming to identify the marginalized face of the city. The workshop was led by one of the active students of the university. The remains of historical monuments were an outlet for the exploration of stories, the collective memory, and the dissolution of indigenous peoples. Emphasis was placed on the dynamics of urban planning and the role of ideology in shaping space and in defining "forms of modernization".
